China Communications Construction (ECRL) Sdn Bhd and Malaysia Rail Link Sdn Bhd, the main contractor, and the asset owner of the East Coast Rail Link (ECRL) Project donated RM50,000 to Selangor State Government in support of their efforts to rebuild lives and homes of the flood victims in Selangor.
The mock cheque was handed by Mr. Kong Qi, Managing Director of CCC-ECRL to Selangor Menteri Besar, Datuk Seri Amirudin Shari, who was accompanied by Dato’ Sri Darwis Abdul Razak, Chief Executive Officer of MRL.
Some RM1.8 million managed to be raised from several industry players and individuals for the second edition of ‘Tabung Ikhtiar Selangor Bangkit’ on 31st December 2021.
‘Tabung Ikhtiar Selangor Bangkit’ was established as a platform for Malaysians, especially private companies, individuals, and government-linked agencies to contribute to the restoration of areas affected by the floods.
